Payment Policy: Classes at $15 or less for members will be paid in full at sign up. Classes more than $15 require a 50% deposit at sign up, remainder due one month prior to class. Unfilled classes are open to non-members 4 weeks prior to class. Classes may require a pattern, kit or supplies fee, payable to the teacher.

Cancellation policy: Except in the case of emergency, no refunds will be given. Please contact Program Coordinator ASAP if you must cancel. See Standing Rule 1.A. for further explanation of either Policy.

3-D Embellishments

Valora Hammond has been sewing since she was making Barbie doll clothes. Part of the fun of sewing was creating your own fabric by becoming a master manipulator of fabric. That is what makes something interesting is by having the unexpected. When she started working for an international sewing machine company she took the manipulation and embellishments and put them on quilts. For her it just wasn’t sewing fabric together. Come to the trunk show at the Nov 17, 2023 meeting and get inspired from simple manipulations and embellishments to full blown 3D effects. You will then see the 3D wall hanging that she will be teaching in the spring. Come have fun and let your mind get creative.
