Payment Policy: Classes at $15 or less for members will be paid in full at sign up. Classes more than $15 require a 50% deposit at sign up, remainder due one month prior to class. Unfilled classes are open to non-members 4 weeks prior to class. Classes may require a pattern, kit or supplies fee, payable to the teacher.

Cancellation policy: Except in the case of emergency, no refunds will be given. Please contact Program Coordinator ASAP if you must cancel. See Standing Rule 1.A. for further explanation of either Policy.

3-D Embellishments
at Masonic Temple, Alliance, NE

3-D Sunflower, roses and lupine. Class fee $10, to Panhandle Quilt Guild. Class Kit fee is $10, to Valora. Includes 8 (7.5”) squares yellow and 2 (4” x wof) strips for yellow prairie peaks. If you don’t get a Kit, it’s suggested to use ombre fabric, and you will need 2/3 yards of yellow. Also, for the roses: 2(6”) squares and 3 (5”) squares. Along with the kit, you will need from your scraps: background fabric 4 (6”) squares plus maybe a total of ½ yard-it can be scraps; in Brown, 12 (3/4” or 1”)yo-yos, or buttons; in Greens – 1” bias strip and ¾” bias strip(s) each size totaling 24” long, several (picture shows 3) 2” x 3” for leaves on sunflower, 2(4” x 1”) for roses, 2(1” x 4”) for lupine. Lupine flowers –(they come in a variety of colors), 3(6”) squares, 4(5”) squares. Tools needed: Sewing Machine and simple sewing kit; Point turner; vanishing Fabric marker; Iron or wall paper roller; Washi tape or Painters tape; Glue stick; Ruler-Rotary cutter-Mat.
